Terms of Service

1. The service

Asklify lets businesses build AI assistants trained on their own content and deploy them via our Website Widget, JavaScript SDK, HTML embed, REST API, or framework components. We may improve, change, or add features over time.

2. Accounts & responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and workspace, including your team members and any API keys you issue.
• You must be legally able to enter into these terms and, if using Asklify on behalf of an organization, authorized to bind it.
• You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the rights to use it.

3. Free trial

Each new workspace is eligible for a one-time 14-day free trial with no credit card required. When the trial ends, your workspace, chatbots, documents, and conversation history are preserved, but AI responses are paused until you choose a paid plan. Trials are for genuine evaluation; attempts to abuse the trial system may result in suspension.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis in the currency shown at checkout.
• By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel.
• Plans include a monthly allowance of AI conversations; you may purchase prepaid conversation add-ons at any time.
• Conversation allowances reset each billing cycle and do not roll over; purchased packs expire at the end of the billing cycle.
• Prices may change with reasonable notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Asklify to:

• Break the law or infringe others' rights, including intellectual property and privacy.
• Upload malware, or attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the service or its security.
• Send spam, harass, or deploy assistants for deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or exceed the limits of the service except as expressly permitted.
• Process highly sensitive data (e.g. payment card, health, or government-ID data) unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the content you upload and the conversations generated in your workspace. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that content to provide the service. Asklify and its software, branding, and documentation remain our property. Feedback you share may be used to improve the product.

9. Third-party services

Asklify relies on third-party providers (including AI model providers and payment processors). Your use of the service is also subject to their applicable terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Asklify will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, non-payment, or to protect the service or other users. You may stop using Asklify at any time; certain provisions (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability) survive termination.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the product and legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to account owners. Continued use of Asklify after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
