Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies Asklify uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

Last updated: July 2026

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Along with similar technologies like local storage, they help us keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the product is used. We keep our use of cookies to what's needed to run and improve the service.

Essential cookies

These are required for the website and dashboard to work — for example, to load pages securely and protect against abuse. The service cannot function properly without them, so they can't be switched off from within the product.

Authentication cookies

When you sign in, we use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure as you move between pages. Signing out clears your session.

Analytics cookies

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand how the product is used and where it can improve. We do not use these to build advertising profiles or sell personal data.

Functional cookies

These remember your preferences — such as light or dark theme — so the product behaves the way you expect on your next visit.

The embeddable widget

The Asklify chat widget uses local storage in your end user's browser to remember their conversation. It does not set advertising cookies.

  • You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
  • Most browsers let you block or remove cookies, and browse in a private/incognito mode.
  • Blocking essential or authentication cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the service.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as the product evolves. Changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. For related information, see our Privacy Policy.
